Magnolia Multi-Challenge Card

As I'm sat here typing this post the sun is streaming through the windows - it really makes you feel good to see the sun, doesn't it? I love it. Okay, it may not be sunny when the post pops up; (it is Saturday morning now and I'm scheduling this for tomorrow) but it is glorious now.

Another reason to be cheerful is that I've had the time to make a birthday card for the Just Magnolia challenge, and on top of that, it fits 6 other challenges too (that's an absolute record for me!).

So I'm entering this card into:
Just Magnolia - Hearts and Flowers
Just Christmas and Birthday cards - the sketch (this is a birthday card)
Stamp Something - Delightfully Delicious Somethings (mmmm, look at that gingerbread!)
Cute Card Thursday - Blooming Gorgeous
A Spoonfull Of Sugar- Anything Goes

I had a fantastic time with distress inks on this card. I attacked paper edges, added distress ink swirls, stamped the sentiment in it, hit the flowers with some and water coloured the image in distress inks too. Distress ink overload alert! :D

Items used:
Bearly Mine Papers
Prima Hydrangeas
Magnolia Image
Whimsy Stamps sentiment
Basic Grey swirl stamps
Crystal Stickles, gold wire, gold thread, pearls, crackle glaze, Glimmer Mist (gold), InkEssential pen and Pearls from my stash.

Thanks for looking,
Sharon xx
