What a busy weekend it has been. I just didn't get into a really crafty mood and everything took an age to make; but so far I have 4 cards ready for this week and one partly made one too.
After yesterday's bit of a back to basics card it's a cute card day again today. Well, it's a sweet card really. This one is for two challenges:
Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge - The Sketch
Penny Black Challenge - Pearls and Pins
This has to be one of my favourite penny black images. I love it! Apart from the pearls (which will really show up in the picture below) I've kept the other embellishments to a minimum and my border/background stamping is quite subtle using Arctic Blue Versacolour.Items used:
Image: Penny Black
Border stamp: Inkadinkado
Flourish stamp: Penny Black Footnote
Distress inks: Weathered Wood, Broken China, Faded Denim, Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmalade, Antique Linen, Tattered Rose, Black Soot, and Brushed Corduroy.
Actic Blue Versacolour Ink
Mark Richards Pearls
White satin ribbon coloured with Midnight Blue Promarker
Flowers, pearls and pins from my stash.
Thanks for looking,
