It's Colour Create day again today and our fantastic Mina has chosen a gorgeous combo and optional extra for us again. I just don't know where the girls keep coming up with these beautiful colour combos - but I'm really glad that they do. This is the fab picture that she picked for inspiration. The colours are Lilac, Grey and white with the optional extra of gingham. Gorgeous!
I will be entering my card into some challenges but I'll have to add those when I get home from work tonight (I'm writing this post way past my bed time!)
The papers were ones that I found as a free download but I had to alter the colour in photoshop from pink to lilac. Luckily my (pretty bad) photoshop skills came good this time because the paper matches my card stock really well.
The image is called Juliet from Girl About Town from charmed cards and crafts. She is coloured with distress inks (Milled Lavender, Dusty Concorde, Black soot and Old Paper). I distressed the edge of the image and then went over it with 2 peg stamps in milled lavender and dusty concorde. The lilac card is embossed with the Stylized Flowers cuttlebug embossing folder. Ribbons, buttons, bling and Tim Holtz photo corner are from my stash.
We're sponsored this week by Michelle's scrapbooking and she has donated one of her new Pixie cottage stamps and a $15 gift voucher.
I hope you'll find time to join our challenge and please take a moment to look at the fantastic creations from the amazing DT.
Thanks for looking,
