Quietly Fishing

Recently I was asked to make a card for a man 'who likes fishing and golf so one of those themes would be good'. Well....couldn't resist that could I? A chance to play with the brayer again.... lovely jubbly. It makes me think I'm creating miniature pieces of artwork. To me, this little scene that I've created just oozes serenity, peace, quietness and a man content with the world!

See the tiny duplicate stamp that I have of the fisherman on the inside? How sweet is that!

Luckily for me, there are a couple of challenges that I can enter this into:

AIFactory - Drop In The Bucket (water related)
Creative Craft World - Card for a Male
Ooh La La! - It's a Man thing

All of the stamps used are Clarity stamps. I used Big 'n Juicy ink pads in Soothing Sunset and Waterfall. I also used black Versamark ink.

.......and my next card will be........cute and fussy!

Thanks for looking,
Sharon xx

Another amazing card! You constantly amaze me with your fabulous techniques. How did you get the water effect? I'm guessing it's something with glossy cs, embossing supplies and a brayer, but I can't figure out the deets. :o)

Beautiful card. It caught my eye as I was trawling my blog and guessed they were Clarity stamps. I still haven't mastered this technique. Must practice a bit more, x

Absolutely wonderful. I've just booked a workshop with Barbara, I know I will never have the patience to start this kind of work on my own! I dream of creating works of art like this.
