Always & Forever

Finger's Mr Blogger behaving today? If this posts then that's a big, fat 'Yes'. Phew! It worked! Hope it got the spacing right too - I seem to have had a particular problem with that recently. This card is for fun; it makes such a lovely change to get the chance for some additional crafting time so that you can enter some challenges for fun. Kind of makes me wish we had an extra day as holiday at least once a month!

This card has been inspired by some new stamps, teamed up with some old stamps, added in a sketch and a bit of my favourite thing to do.....create my own background papers. This background is so pretty and subtle irl but the camera managed to pick up all the elements.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Allsorts Challenge - Things with wings
Speedy the Cat's - Ivory and Lace
Stamp Something - Use a Sentiment
Totally Papercraft - Pink and Girly
Waltzing Mouse Sketch challenge - The sketch

Items used:

Stamps: Musical Backgrounds, Say it Loud, Victorian Frippery
Distress inks: Antique Linen, Scattered Straw, Spun Sugar
Stickles: Stardust
Punches: Tonic Studios & Martha Stewart
Circle Nesties.
Ribbon, Beading, Sewing cotton, Feather, Pearls & Pearl spray from my stash

Thanks for looking,
Sharon xx

Oh Sharon, this is fantastic! I love the layered medallion with the little pink feather peeking out! Not only is the ribbon beautiful, but you kept the lovely criss-crossed pattern that Edna had in her sketch! Spectacular butterflies, too! What a great job you did with the WMSC this week!!

I love making my own patterned paper, too. Kudos to you on paper well decorated! And that focal point is so soft, but so textural. Thanks for playing in my ivory and lace challenge, with Speedy's Friends!
