Today is Colour Create Challenge day and the amazing Mina picked the colours of Grey, Blue and White with the optional extra of Vellum. We all had loads of fun with these colours. I got out my Kars Bling, Bling Doodles templates and did a little embroidery on the grey card stock in white and pale blue thread.
For the vellum option I tore the edges of one piece and wrapped it around the card.
The main image (Greetings by ARTish available from our sponsor The Pixie Cottage) was stamped in white stayzon onto parchment, I added blue to the petals on the reverse of the parchment using a pergamano pencil crayon and the edges of the petals were feathered with an embossing tool. Ice cool clear gems, a piece of ribbon and a best wishes sentiment finished this card off.
I'm entering this into the following challenges:Top Tip Tuesday - Open Challenge
Crafty Cardmakers Spotlight Challenge - Parchment
Pollycraft - Ribbon & Flowers
Simon Says Stamp and Show - Distressed/Torn Edges
Magical Monday - Pick Two (Ribbon and Flower)
Frosted Design Fabulous Friday challenge - Stitching
There is some amazing inspiration on the Colour Create challenge blog, please take a look at the items the wonderful DT have made.
Last but certainly not least, we're saying a very sad farewell to our amazing Janiel. She's been a part of our little team for so long now and we will miss her so much! From the bottom of my heart I thank her for all the wonderful things she created for the challenge and for the incredible commitment and friendship she gave everyone. Take care hunni!
Thanks for looking,
Sharon xx
