Medieval Knights

Are you ready for a bit of medieval, masculine madness? Here's the olde recipe: Add a sprinkling of knights in shining armour, a splash of blood spattering, dollop in a wax seal, blend a fleur-de-lis, mix with a wonderful colour combination, bake in papers that you create yourself and this is what you end up with! I actually love this set of masculine cards!

These are the Colour Create DT items that I've created for today's challenge. Our fab Kerry picked the amazing combination of RED, KRAFT and WHITE/CREAM with an optional extra of CREATE YOUR OWN PAPERS.

I'm entering these into the following challenges:
Top Tip Tuesday - Masculine Cards
Cards For Men - Anything Goes
Shopping Our Stash - Red or Ribbon or Roses
Sparkles Forum Challenge - One For The Boys
Lollipop Crafts - Make it masculine
Stamps R Us - Anything Goes

Card 1: Sizzix Bigz Fleur-de-lis die. Waltzing Mouse text stamp (on the fleur-de-lis).Kraft paper embossed with forever friends black and gold embossing folder. Red backing paper created by stamping and clear embossing various birthday sentiments at right angles. White embroidery thread. Fleur-de-lis wax seal and brass coloured brads finish the card off.

Card 2: Background: Waltzing Mouse text stamp in brown ink, a Crackle Background stamp embossed in white detail embossing powder and 'blood splatters' added by a paper artsy splatter stamp.
Main Image from Tanda Stamps medieval set - embossed in red. Brads and red ribbon from stash

Card 3. Red Background: Watermelon, Cranberry and Gold Alcohol inks. Over stamped with a small Fleur-de-lis stamp embossed in detail white.
Kraft Background: stamped with Waltzing Mouse text stamp

Ribbon, Embroidery Floss and Wax seal.

Hope you can join us for the challenge over at Colour Create; the design team have made some stunning creations this time.

Thanks for looking,
Sharon xx
