All that glitters.....

Hello folks! How is everyone? Did you all have fun at the recent craft fairs? One of these days I'll get to one of the bigger ones, I hope, but I'm so scared of spending too much money at those events. Can you imagine how many things would leap into my shopping trolly? It's bad enough that they all fight their way in on a website! Perhaps a car trailer would be needed to go around the NEC ;-)

Anyway, its Colour Create Challenge time again and our wonderful Kerry has picked such a pretty combo this time
with the optional extra of
Here's the inspiration picture:

Now, normally I make all my own card blanks, but a set of gold card blanks launched themselves into my shopping basket on a recent trip to a well known craft store. So it would've been rude not to use one of them wouldn't it? I also fancied a little break from the Christmas card making, so I picked out some butterfly and a floral stamp to maka a base for a Birthday card.
My bling comes in the form of some gold gems and the gold embossing, as well as that blingy gold ribbon.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:
ABC Challenge - D is for Dazzle
Heartsong Inspirations - Gold or Glitter
The Pink Elephant - Embossing
Just Us Girls - Ghosting Technique
Sassy Cheryl's - Stump the boss (Anything Goes)

The Colour Create Challenge is sponsored by our regular monthly sponsor and the winner will receive a $15 gift certificate to spend in store

Michelle's Scrapbooking & More is now carrying La Blanche stamps, La La Land stamps and have just released a new line from The Pixie Cottage. I was so inspired by the colours that I made a card I'm really pleased with!!!! I was going to leave the background just brayered but I'm so glad I took the chance and embossed it and glittered up the edge. It made all the difference.
